1. Introduction

Trustyy (“we,” “us,” “our”) values your family’s privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information from parents, guardians, and children who use the Trustyy App, the Trustyy Program, and our website at trustyy.com (collectively, the “Services”).

Our goal is to help families strengthen connection and trust through technology, curriculum, and coaching—while keeping personal information safe and private.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you are a parent or guardian, you agree to provide consent for your child’s use of the Trustyy App.

2. Information We Collect

Information You and Your Child Provide

  • Parent or Guardian Information: name, email address, phone number, payment details (if applicable), and account credentials.
  • Child Information: first name, age, and app activity information (such as completed tasks or messages shared within the app).
  • Family Use Data: progress, goals, and feedback shared through the Trustyy curriculum or coaching features.

We do not require children to share personal contact information (like an email or phone number) to use the app. Children’s use is supervised and managed through the parent’s account.
Information Collected Automatically

When you or your child use our Services, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser type
  • IP address
  • App usage data and performance statistics
  • Cookies or analytics data to improve performance

We do not use behavioral advertising or third-party ad tracking in the Trustyy App.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and personalize the Trustyy experience for families
  • Track progress within the curriculum and coaching programs
  • Communicate updates, reminders, and support messages
  • Ensure safety, security, and integrity of the platform
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

We may also use de-identified and aggregated data to improve our programs and technology.

4. Children’s Privacy and Parental Consent

Trustyy is committed to protecting children’s privacy in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable laws.

  • Children may use the Trustyy App only with parental consent and supervision.
  • Parents control their child’s account access and can review or delete their child’s data at any time by contacting us.
  • We collect only the minimum amount of information reasonably necessary for a child to participate in app activities.
  • We do not share or sell children’s data to any third party for advertising or marketing purposes.

If we discover that a child has provided personal information without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your or your child’s information. We may share data only in these limited cases:

  • With trusted service providers who support our operations (hosting, security, analytics) and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • With authorized coaches or family members, as invited by the parent or guardian.
  • If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use limited cookies and analytics tools to understand site performance and improve functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting app use.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services and fulfill legal or contractual obligations. Parents may request deletion of their or their child’s data at any time.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards—encryption, secure servers, and limited employee access—to protect your family’s information from unauthorized access or misuse.
